Beware. In less than 6 months, I’m down 50% in two of the funds he runs for U.S. Global Investors. He was in the top 20% five years ago, but in the past year he’s been in the bottom 5 percent of funds in his class (gold and commodities). He should spend less time trying to impress everyone with his market views and more on making money money for his shareholders. (At this rate, they won’t be with him much longer. Maybe he’s preparing for a career on youtube.)
