Which one? My 401K is a couple of internal mutuals, Russel 2000 (50% new money) , sp500 (25% new money) and sp 600 (25% new money).
My other portfolio is 50% foriegn ETFs and 40% domestic ETFs and 10% straight domestic stock. I can DRIP for free so I do. So I had one ETF with 8% annual gain with a 4% DRIP or 12% total. I expect that $8,000 in that ETF to be worth $65,100 when I sell in 14 years at the current rate I’m getting.

  2. You cannot really believe I would share my portfolio with you? I will give you one sage piece of advice that has served me well throughout the years.
    BUY LOW, SELL HIGH!!!!!

  3. Buy low and sell high is right
when the market drops 1000 points in the next few months
buy a bunch of cheap stocks that have also gone down with the market but are still putting up favorable news
triple up every 5-10 years gauranteed!

  4. I know you don’t want to hear about “my” portfolio, but I think it is important because my7 strategy has a great effect on my portfolio. I believe markets go in predictable bull and bear market cycles. I prefer a 1-3 year window of trading. For the past few years I have liked commodities especially gold (lucky me) now I like large cap technology growth ie Yahoo and Microsoft. My strategy is value- you can never lose thinking this way. Learn what a good value for your money is and then wait until it comes along. As Jim Rogers says, “wait until the money is just sitting in the corner and then pick it up” don’t make it complicated. Good Luck!
